Swallow

Swallows are a species-rich family of passerines. Swallows are characterized by the ability to get food in the air; they are able to catch insects in flight. Swallows have a slender, streamlined body and long, narrow wings. The bill is short and opens rather wide. The legs are very small, and most species have long tails. Swallows are migratory birds.
